The goal of the Church not just to strengthen the members but also to impact the world around us. How do we do this? By intentional Christ centered discipleship that builds a strong sense of community and family within the Body of Christ. CATALYST STUDENT MINISTRY

With the world and culture changing at an alarming rate, it can be a daunting and sometimes intimidating task to help our teens stay focused on the essentials. The City of Refuge’s heart is to help teach, train, disciple and encourage our young people thru teaching and fellowship opportunities like, Student Ministries, Mentor Programs and Missions. VALOR MEN’S MINISTRY

VALOR is born out of the need to help men learn how to be a success in every aspect of life. God wants the best for our relationships, families, jobs and most important He wants our relationship with Him to be amazing! Valor has men’s groups and events throughout the week and meets the second and 4th Wednesday of the month at 630pm of the month for, Study and Fellowship.

CITY SKATE CENTER

Who we are In November 2015, The City of Refuge Church purchased our current property which included the former Spinning Wheels Roller Rink. Spinning Wheels had provided a place for kids to have fun and build memories since 1961. In wanting to continue that legacy, we decided to reopen the skating rink as a ministry of our Church to the Youth and Families of Portage and surrounding areas.
