SEEDLINGS Seedlings is an amazing interactive group for children and parents ages 4k thru 5th grade. They meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 530 pm. Come bring your children for some fun Biblical centered fellowship and interaction.
BECOMING FOR YOUNG LADIES
BECOMING We live in a world that seems to tear down the natural amazingness of a Godly woman. Proverbs 31 and many other places in Scripture, teach us that God has the utmost respect and purpose for women. Becoming is a beautiful environment where some of the older women and mothers can pass along Godly wisdom, talent and anointing to our young ladies. Becoming meets every Tuesday at 5:30pm. Forged Our Forged group started with a burden to train up Godly young men that have a heart for God and are not ashamed of their faith. Forged is co-led by an amazing group of fathers and men from the City of Refuge Church. CATALYST STUDENT MINISTRY
With the world and culture changing at an alarming rate, it can be a daunting and sometimes intimidating task to help our teens stay focused on the essentials. The City of Refuge’s heart is to help teach, train, disciple and encourage our young people thru teaching and fellowship opportunities like, Student Ministries, Mentor Programs and Missions. Our young people are not future leaders but an essential part of the Church today.

BROTHERHOOD is born out of the need to help men learn how to be a success in every aspect of life. God wants the best for our relationships, families, jobs and most important He wants our relationship with Him to be amazing! Brotherhood has men’s groups and events throughout the week and meets the first Saturday of the month at the church for Breakfast, Study and Fellowship.

Who we are In November 2015, The City of Refuge Church purchased our current property which included the former Spinning Wheels Roller Rink. Spinning Wheels had provided a place for kids to have fun and build memories since 1961. In wanting to continue that legacy, we decided to reopen the skating rink as a ministry of our Church to the Youth and Families of Portage and surrounding areas.
